What Is Grafted Glue?
Grafted glue is an adhesive that uses chemical or physical methods to graft different polymers (such as polymer chains) together. This type of glue is usually used to improve the performance of materials or give them new properties.
Characteristics of Grafted Glue
- Enhanced Performance: By grafting different polymers, the strength, toughness, chemical resistance and other properties of the material can be improved.
- Versatility: The type of grafted polymer can be adjusted as needed to give the glue different properties, such as waterproofness, heat resistance, etc.
- Good Adhesion: Grafted glue usually have excellent adhesion and can form a strong bond on a variety of substrates.
Main Equipment and Processes of Grafted Glue Production Line
1. Mixing Equipment
The mixer is used to evenly mix the main polymer, grafted polymer, additives, etc.
2. Reactor
Grafting reaction is carried out in the reactor, and the temperature and time are controlled to ensure sufficient reaction. Reactor can be equipped with heating, cooling and stirring devices.
3. Cooling System
After the reaction is completed, the temperature is quickly reduced through the cooling system to prevent further reaction and maintain the stability of the grafted glue.
4. Degassing Equipment
Remove bubbles and volatile components generated during the production process to ensure the uniformity and adhesion of the glue.
5. Packaging Machine
Package the produced grafted glue, mark the ingredients and precautions for use, and prepare to send it to customers or markets.
